Gaïa+ is a car seat that can be used rear facing up to 4 years old, approved R129 i-size from 40 to 105 cm (birth to approx. 4 years).
It has an innovative and exclusive feature : sliding depth adjustment for extra legroom in rearward position. It benefits from the patented Softness® Technology (steel frame topped with polyurethane foam) which ensures the best for safety and comfort.
Gaïa+ is a swivelling car seat. It swivels 90° for easy installation of the child facing you, and it swivels 180° for changing the orientation of the car seat. Gaïa+ can be used forward facing from 15 months, but we recommend using it rear facing up to 105 cm. And as Gaïa+ car seat provides a sliding depth adjustment, there is no problem to travel in rearward position until 4 years old ! Gaïa+ is an adjustable car seat thanks to its removable baby inserts and its height-adjustable headrest, and is 3-position reclining.
Gaïa+ has successfully passed the approval crash tests to obtain the R129 i-size standard. It’s a RF car seat usable rear facing up to 105 cm. Moreover, Gaïa+ i-size car seat ensures extra side protection thanks to its 2 removable ESP. The door-side protection helps to stabilise the seat in the event of a side impact, and the other one can be removed to provide more space for the other occupants of the rear seat. All car safety experts recommend that children should travel rear facing for as long as possible as this is the safest position for them. However, this position is not always well accepted by oldest children because of the limited legroom usually available, and parents quickly change for a forward facing car seat.

Gaïa+ is an adjustable car seat. Its inner area accommodates to each child’s morphology : from newborn baby up to a 4-year-old child ! It comes with super soft and removable newborn head support and baby insert. The headrest is height-adjustable, with built-in harness.

Gaïa+ car seat has successfully passed crash test to fully meet the standard and be R129 i-size approved. This new standard is based on more thorough testing, aims to avoid any misuse of car seats, and recommends a very good adaptation of the car seat to all the morphologies of the children for whom it is intended. It prohibits the transport of children forward facing until they are at least 15 months old. It is recommended that children travel rear facing for as long as possible. Gaïa+ fully complies with this standard as it is an RF car seat that can be used rearward facing up to 105 cm.
In addition, Gaïa+ i-size car seat guarantees an extra side protection thanks to its 2 removable ESP. The door-side protection effectively helps to keep the seat in place in the event of a side impact, while the other one can be removed to provide more space for the other occupants of the rear seat.
The ISOFIX installation of Gaïa+ car seat is safe and swift. Adjustable isofix connectors must be clipped to their 2 anchor points in the car, the telescopic support leg must be extended, its height must be correctly adjusted and the perfect mounting of the car seat on the vehicle must be checked thanks to the visual control indicators.
